Father Arrives From Myanmar to Identify Body - Missing UCSI University Student Confirmed Dead

A missing Myanmar student from UCSI University in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, has been confirmed dead.
Sithu Hphone Maw’s father has arrived in Malaysia after receiving notification to identify the body, confirming that the man who fell from a high-rise building was indeed his son.
Cheras District Police Deputy Chief Superintendent Ridzuan Khalid confirmed the news, stating that police received a report at 8:30 AM on the day the deceased went missing (9th) about a fall from the Angkasa Apartment in Taman Connaught.
The deceased, 20, was also a resident of the building.
The deceased’s father, a 54 year-old businessman, arrived at the University Malaya Medical Centre mortuary at 2 PM yesterday (16 July) to identify the body.
He confirmed through a birthmark on the left waist that the deceased was his missing son.
Autopsy Confirms Fall from Height, No Criminal Elements FoundRidzuan said that according to the autopsy report, the deceased died from falling from a height.
Police reviewed the apartment’s CCTV footage and found that the deceased had fallen from the 26th floor of the apartment building.
He disclosed that the deceased’s body will be claimed by family members, with arrangements made to return to Myanmar on the 22nd of this month.
Since the investigation found no criminal elements, police have classified this case as a sudden death.
According to earlier reports, UCSI University filed a police report at 9:05 PM on the 9th of this month, stating that one of their second-year students was missing and requesting police intervention in the investigation.
