Premier to officially launch Batang Saribas 1 Bridge tomorrow (July 19)

KUCHING, July 18: Preparations are underway for the official launching ceremony of the Batang Saribas 1 Bridge tomorrow (July 19).

According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) report, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas went down to the field to inspect the final preparations and rehearsals at the ceremony site today to ensure that everything would run smoothly tomorrow.

Accompanying him were Beting Maro assemblyman, Razaili Gapor, and Batang Lupar MP, Mohamad Shafizan Kepli.

The bridge is scheduled to be launched by the Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

With the construction of the bridge, the Betong Division, particularly Saribas, will undergo a significant transformation in terms of development and economic growth.

This bridge will also help shorten the travel time for residents to Pekan Pusa. — DayakDaily
