Kuching Waterfront Festival: Road closures on Oct 26, Nov 3 for Sarawak Regatta

KUCHING, Oct 22: The Kuching Waterfront Festival 2024 is set to take place from Oct 25 to Nov 3, 2024 at the Kuching Waterfront here.

In conjunction with the festival, the Kuching District Police Headquarters announced in a statement that road closures will be implemented to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.

The following roads will be closed during key events:

– Oct 26 (7am to 12.30pm) Road closures for the Sarawak Regatta 2024 Opening Ceremony:

1. Lebuh Wayang to Main Bazaar 2. Main Bazaar 3. Wawasan Road to Wayang Road

– Nov 3 (12pm to 6pm) Road closures for the Sarawak Regatta 2024 Closing Ceremony:

1. Lebuh Wayang to Main Bazaar 2. Main Bazaar 3. Wawasan Road to Wayang Road

The police urged the public to refrain from parking along the shoulders of the affected roads and to plan their journeys ahead, using alternative routes to reduce traffic congestion.
