“Love Scout” Heads Into 2nd Half On Its Highest Ratings Yet; “When The Stars Gossip” Drops To All-Time Low

SBS’s “Love Scout” wrapped up the first half of its run on a high note!

On January 18, the hit romance drama soared to its highest viewership ratings to date ahead of the second half of its run. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Love Scout” scored an average nationwide rating of 11.4 percent, marking a new personal record for the series.

“Love Scout” also rose to its highest ratings yet among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it earned an average rating of 4.4 percent—making it the most-watched show of any kind to air this entire week.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “When the Stars Gossip” fell to its lowest ratings yet for its fifth episode, which scored a nationwide average of 1.8 percent.

MBC’s new drama “Motel California,” which airs in the same time slot as “Love Scout,” earned an average nationwide rating of 3.6 percent for its fourth episode.

Channel A’s “Check in Hanyang” kicked off the second half of its run on an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent.

JTBC’s “The Tale of Lady Ok” took first place in its time slot with an average nationwide rating of 8.4 percent.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” continued its reign as the most-watched show of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 17.4 percent.
