Kim Nam Hee And Jung Sung Il Are Doctors With Contrasting Auras In Special Appearances For New Short Drama

Kim Nam Hee and Jung Sung Il will be making special appearances in tvN’s upcoming short drama “Road to Surgeon” (literal title)!

“Road to Surgeon” is a story of growth about medical residents Kim Joo No (Kim Gun Woo) and Lee Dae Gil (Lee Won Jung), who set out to track down the youngest resident Kim Hye Won (Jung Shin Hye) after she abruptly disappears just before a surgical skills competition for first-year residents.

Kim Nam Hee takes on the role of Kang Jin Sang, while Jung Sung Il plays Lee Shin Yeop—two doctors who, in very different ways, leave a significant impact on Kim Joo No, Lee Dae Gil, and Kim Hye Won as the trio strives to grow into true surgeons.

Newly released stills highlight the striking contrast between Kang Jin Sang and Lee Shin Yeop. Although both characters are doctors, they exude entirely different vibes: Kang Jin Sang brings a realistic yet approachable charm, while Lee Shin Yeop commands attention with his serious and weighty presence.

The production team shared, “Despite their packed schedules, Kim Nam Hee and Jung Sung Il readily agreed to make special appearances in ‘Road to Surgeon.’ Both actors poured incredible effort into delivering flawless performances, no matter the size of their roles, and everyone on set was amazed.
