POCO Launches F7 With Cyber Silver Edition And Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Power

POCO, a favourite among young tech enthusiasts, has introduced its latest flagship, the POCO F7, marking a new chapter in design, performance, and accessibility. Powered by the newly unveiled Snapdragon® 8s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, the POCO F7 brings cutting-edge performance to a broader audience. It also launches with a striking Cyber Silver Edition, featuring a Snapdragon® logo on the back—an emblem of its futuristic identity.

The event also sees the debut of Rydr, POCO’s first virtual avatar. Rydr symbolises speed, intelligence, and power, reflecting POCO’s deepening focus on innovation and its engagement with tech-driven youth culture.

At the heart of the POCO F7 is the Snapdragon® 8s Gen 4, built on an all-big-core CPU architecture. Delivering a 30% performance increase² over the previous generation and scoring 2,084,535¹ on AnTuTu, it’s a powerhouse for gaming and multitasking.

To support thermal performance, it introduces POCO’s largest and most effective cooling system yet — a 6000mm² 3D Dual-Channel IceLoop System, featuring the biggest Loop Heat Pipe in POCO history.

A massive 6,500mAh (typ) battery powers the device, supported by 90W HyperCharge³, bringing it to 80% in just 30 minutes⁴. There’s also 22.5W reverse charging⁵, compatible across most smartphones including Xiaomi and other Android brands.

Gaming gets a boost with WildBoost Optimisation 4.0, supporting 1.5K Super Resolution and up to 120FPS in Genshin Impact, while Xiaomi HyperOS 2⁶ enhances day-to-day performance. A dedicated Surge T1s signal tuner ensures stable cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.

A Display That Adapts And Performs

POCO F7 sports a 6.83-inch 1.5K ultra-bright display that reaches 3200 nits peak brightness. With up to 25% APL for more even brightness across the screen, and Sunlight Display 4.0, users get consistently vivid visuals, even in harsh outdoor conditions.

It also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution), Flicker Free, and Circadian Friendly Certifications, ensuring reduced eye strain. 3840Hz PWM dimming, Wet Touch Display 2.0, and a 2560Hz⁷ instant touch sampling rate ensure smooth, responsive use—ideal for gaming or wet hands.

Speed-Inspired Design Meets Endurance

The POCO F7’s design is inspired by motion and built for strength. It features a CNC-integrated aluminium alloy frame, a sleek glass back, and a 94.23% screen-to-body ratio². The back panel sports a blade-like neon flare camera deco, with a golden-angle line separating form and function.

The Cyber Silver Edition delivers a mechanical, Cyberpunk aesthetic. The oversized Snapdragon® logo adds a performance-first identity to its already bold design.

For durability, the F7 features a reinforced structure with up to 70kg² bending resistance and an IP68 rating⁸ for dust and water protection—making it ready for unpredictable environments.

Pro-Level Photography, AI-Driven Enhancement

POCO F7 features a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS, offering vibrant, stable images even in challenging light. New camera modes like UltraSnap and Live Photo make it easy to capture fast action and emotional stills.

Portrait photographers will appreciate the trio of 26mm, 35mm, and 52mm focal lengths, paired with a real light spot bokeh feature for natural blur and depth.

The upgraded AI Beautify function refines tone, sharpness, and brightness for balanced, lifelike photos. The camera UI has also been redesigned for easier navigation and a smarter user interface.
