Create a customizable and dynamically immersive media space with Linkind's EP6 hexagon panels, TV lights, and more

Smart lighting has come a long way, and beyond standard color-changing lightbulbs, many devices on the market now bring customizable shape layouts to the mix, letting you personalize your space on top of getting vibrant ambient lighting that syncs alongside other devices for multi-connected ocular spectacles.
Linkind is stepping up its game with the expansive EP6 Hexagon Light Panels, which combine precision app controls, auto-mapping capabilities, and far more flexibility in placement over traditional fixed-point designs. Things only get better with synchronization, as these panels can be integrated with the brand’s ET6 Smart TV Backlight, EL8 Light Strips, and more – all to help you create the perfect media center for your streaming and gaming sessions.
Customize your walls with vibrant streams of colorLinkind’s EP6 Hexagon Light Panels’ customization starts with its any-side connect design, which lets you link the panels together from any of their six edges using the included brackets – both the hard brackets for a single-wall connection and flexible brackets for times when you want your panels to cross corners to neighboring walls. What’s more, you’ll only need one controller to handle up to 21 panels.
For the design that best fit my office/media station setup (and my personal preference), I went with 14 panels in a spaceship-like layout that fills the blank spot above my TV, where I usually stream my favorite shows and occasionally game from various consoles. Taking my time and using the included cardboard templates to mark out patterns, everything seamlessly fit together in the end and looks stunning when powered up.
The brand’s AuraScape™ technology allows for the seamless blending of color within each panel, providing an almost watercolor-like effect across their surfaces alongside backlit glowing that lends towards a floating look from the wall. There are plenty of special effects and brightness levels, all controlled via the AiDot app, letting you choose from a range of bright/bold shades to softer and more pastel colors. It’s very easy to lose track of time while playing around with the 66 preset scenes.
What’s more, you can do some digital painting through the auto-mapping functionality, giving you the option to customize/choose the color of each panel’s six sections. It achieves this through a dedicated onboard IC and real-time control algorithms that allow one device to display multiple colors at once, creating smoother gradients, more dynamic transitions, and multi-color animations that take things a step up from basic color shifting. This brings even more precision into the fun, with easy fine-tuning ability that I spent quite a bit of time getting lost in.
Expand lighting through the multi-device ImmerSpace™ effectIn the past, wanting a larger whole-room smart lighting setup meant having to control each device individually, but that’s changing with innovations like Linkind’s multi-device ImmerSpace™ feature. I’ve found it’s best utilized alongside the ET6 Smart TV Backlight, which syncs them together to mirror my screen content in real time for a truly beautiful cornucopia of color. This effect can also extend to the EL8 Smart Light Strips and EN6 Neon Rope Lights.
This effect also offers music and audio syncing, too, giving your favorite tunes, audiobooks, and more immersive mood lighting that amplifies your listening experience. It’s good to note that you don’t have to limit multiple lighting devices to one room, and can choose to have them in multiple places around your home, so the experience continues from room to room.
Where to pick up Linkind’s smart lighting devicesYou can build your own immersive battlestation, media center, or home theater in several ways, but you won’t have as much guesswork or high costs while going with Linkind’s lineup of products. A setup containing 14 Hexagon Light Panels, the Smart TV Backlight, and EL8 Strips will run you a little over $500 at full price, but they’ve been seeing discounts of up to 50% to 64% off, which brings that cost down to $300 and lower, depending on the sale.
