Elle & Vire Professionnel®, the premium French dairy brand under Savencia Fromage & Dairy, proudly hosted its first-ever Malaysia Young Chef Competition 2025 at Le Cordon Bleu Sunway. This landmark event provided a vibrant platform for the country’s most promising young pastry chefs to showcase their creativity and technical mastery.
Under the inspiring theme “Paths of Excellence,” the competition aims to nurture, inspire, and elevate new generations of pastry talent, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s unwavering commitment to empowering young Chefs across the region.
From over 50 entries representing 18 leading institutions nationwide, 10 outstanding finalists earned their spot in the live grand finale. Contestants were challenged to recreate a banana cake and present their unique interpretation of a classic French plated dessert, putting both their artistry and precision to the test using Elle & Vire Professionnel®’s premium dairy ingredients.
Nessy Meghayani, Country Manager of Savencia Fromage & Dairy Indonesia & Malaysia, shared “In conjunction with our brand’s Generation program, which embodies our commitment to nurturing young Chefs and artisans, we’re putting the next generation of Malaysia pastry talent centre stage through the Elle & Vire Professionnel® Malaysia Young Chef Competition.
