Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently shared his disappointment over the lack of “real issues” raised during the opposition’s rally in the capital.

In a Facebook post, he also said he’s open to hearing any kind of feedback or criticism, even from the opposition.

“Turunkan Anwar”

Anwar responded to the recent rally by saying that criticism and reminders are a natural part of any struggle, and should be welcomed when planning the way forward.

He went on to say that Malaysia is a democratic country and that a vote of no confidence is a valid process.

“We’ve brought down the price of RON95”

Anwar admitted that while they can’t achieve everything overnight, the push for reform will continue, one step at a time.

Earlier, Anwar met with members of PKR’s Federal Territories chapter in Putrajaya, where he reminded them to stay committed to the spirit of islah mastata’tum, which means striving for change to the best of their abilities.

He added that KEADILAN must remain a party of the future, as it is a party that embraces criticism, acts with maturity, and stays united in purpose.
