"You're the same!" - M'sian Activist Says PN Should Help Rakyat First Before Organising 'Turun Anwar' Rally

Malaysian social activist, Dato’ Dr. Kalaivanar, recently criticised the leaders of the opposition, Perikatan Nasional (PN), who organised the ‘Turun Anwar’ rally.

He also expressed his disappointment in some leaders of the Opposition who spend more time playing politics instead of taking action to solve the crisis that Malaysians are facing.

For instance, Kalaivanar slammed some leaders of PN who allegedly failed to turn up in certain areas, such as Kampung Melayu, where many of the residents are still facing issues with the reserve land and the land grants. Despite the desire for a rally to pressure PMX to step down, Kalaivanar claimed that not one leader or representative from PN had visited the place to help the people.

Apart from the ongoing issue in Kampung Melayu, Kalaivanar also highlighted the ongoing issues with the Indian community in Batu Caves, where some residents, who Kalaivanar claimed to have valid land grants, are allegedly denied their rights.
