“We Know Who You Are” — Café Calls Out M'sian Couple After Allegedly Locking Themselves In Toilet For Nearly An Hour | WeirdKaya
For most people, a 40-minute stay in the toilet means food poisoning.

For these teens, it allegedly meant something far less innocent and now the café they chose has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

Café calls out couple on Instagram

The story first came to light when a café uploaded a Public Service Announcement (PSA) on its Instagram story, directly addressing what had happened inside its premises.

Although the post was later deleted or expired, it didn’t end there. Before it disappeared, a Threads user had already taken a screenshot and reposted it with a cheeky caption.

That repost was what really ignited the buzz, pushing the story beyond the café’s followers and into the wider online debate.

‘Bro, I’ll be long’

As discussions spread, other netizens began sharing their own experiences of similar incidents. One user recalled what happened at a cafe where he personally encountered a pair of students misusing the toilet.

“I wanted to use the toilet and tried opening the door but it was locked. Suddenly a boy said, ‘Bro, I’ll be long.’ I waited outside and when they came out, it was a schoolboy and a schoolgirl still in uniform. I just laughed.”

Meanwhile, another café worker chimed in, saying such cases were not isolated. According to him, some couples not only misuse café toilets but also leave behind incriminating “evidence.”

“Like sure you guys are feeling freaky, but at least throw away the ‘sock’ properly. Don’t just leave it there.”

These accounts turned the story from a single café’s complaint into a wider commentary about what F&B workers often witness behind the scenes.

Between amusement and disgust

Naturally, the viral post drew waves of reactions, with opinions sharply divided. Some took a lighthearted approach, laughing at the absurdity of the situation. Others, however, were deeply alarmed, pointing to larger issues surrounding teenage behaviour.

“This is why every month got teenage pregnancy cases. Too many underage kids falling into sinful acts, even intercourse. Watch too much porn? Can’t control lust? Nauzubillah.”

Others offered practical advice, suggesting ways cafés could avoid being caught in such scandals again.

“Admin, next time if you see something fishy in the toilet, just use the loudspeaker to call them out. That way they won’t dare repeat it.”

Industry insiders also weighed in, noting that this wasn’t an isolated case but something that happens regularly near schools.

“I work near a secondary school. Every year sure got this kind of case. The youngest we caught was 14 years old.”

And then there were those who criticised the act itself, calling it reckless and disrespectful.

“So daring. Don’t you have money to check into a room? Doing it in public just to satisfy lust is such a low standard.”
