Now in its 17th edition, the marathon drew more than 42,000 runners from across the world last weekend, ranging from casual 5KM participants to seasoned athletes conquering the full 42KM.
Since its debut in 2009, KLSCM has grown into one of Malaysia’s premier running events, not only attracting local and international athletes but also being inclusive to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
A father’s unforgettable raceAmong the many inspiring stories from this year’s event, one stood out and touched the hearts of thousands online.

Despite the challenges, the duo pressed forward with the roar of the crowd cheering them on.
Crossing the finish line in his armsIn a moment that melted hearts, Wira was later seen carrying Wadihan in his arms, wrapped in cloth, as they crossed the finish line together.
“I may be her legs, but she will always be the heart and soul of every race we join. Running for happiness. BIKEISABLE, my extraordinary angel from heaven,” he captioned the post.
The emotional clip quickly gained traction, with many netizens admitting they were moved to tears.
