Malaysian singer Namewee is now looking for a job following his temporary release on police bail.
Namewee, who was placed under remand to assist in the investigation into the murder of Taiwanese influencer Iris Hsieh, said that all his jobs that were scheduled until the end of the year had been cancelled.

In his Facebook post last night (17 November), the man sought job opportunities in working behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, and if there’s no luck, he’s willing to venture into another field.
Namewee also revealed that his Chinese New Year (CNY) song for the Year of the Horse in 2026 has been written, but there’s an issue:
Namewee’s promise to future sponsors
In the meantime, he also made a promise to the future, possible sponsors for any possible ‘damages’ that might take place during this period of time.
Namewee was released on police bail on 13 November, and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) also revealed that his ‘freedom’ is temporary as he is only released until 26 November.
On Sunday (16 November), Iris Hsieh’s body was cremated in Malaysia, and her parents watched the funeral online.
