Govt must act before crisis worsensAccording to Sin Chew Daily, speaking at the Transport Ministry’s monthly assembly in Putrajaya, Anwar said Malaysia’s economy remains in a better position compared to some countries despite global uncertainties.
At the same time, Anwar stressed that being grateful does not mean ignoring existing challenges, adding that the government must prepare early for external crises and manage them wisely before they escalate.
He added that targeted subsidy measures such as the BUDI95 fuel subsidy mechanism were among efforts introduced to help ease the rakyat’s burden.
