There was a time when the most a beer brand could offer was a cold one after a hard day.

Tiger Beer has decided that is no longer enough.

The Heineken Malaysia-owned brand launched Tiger Courage Beats earlier this month, an AI-powered microsite that takes a personal story of up to 150 words — the presentation you almost bailed on, the job you almost did not take, the conversation you almost did not have — and turns it into a full, downloadable song.

The presentation you were asked to give with two days’ notice, or the town hall you almost did not walk into.

In Hip-Hop. Pop. Electronic. Or Rock.

In English, Mandarin, or Tamil.

With a male or female AI voice.

The beer is not even in the room.

Steps and a Deadline

Users visit tigercouragebeats.com, pass an age verification gate (non-Muslims, 21 and above), type out their courage story, select their preferred genre, voice gender and language, and receive a personalised AI-generated song — complete with a shareable audio-visual for Instagram.

Each user receives a maximum of two generations.

Make each one count, the microsite notes.

The campaign runs until 15 September.

Tiger Courage Beats is about recognising the moments people rarely talk about, even though they often define who they become, said Julie Kuan, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia.

That bigger celebration has not been named.

Participants who submit stories may receive access to a Tiger Courage event later in 2026, subject to availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

The details remain, for now, a courage story of their own.

Courage Goes In, A Song Comes Out

The campaign is built on a genuine insight: courage is loudest at the finish line, and the moment before it — the doubt, the hesitation, the decision to go anyway — rarely gets acknowledged.

Tiger Courage Beats asks people to put that moment into words.

Those words are then processed by an AI, set to music, branded with Tiger’s visual identity, and shared across social media by the user themselves.

The campaign comes with a detailed set of terms.

AI-generated songs do not replicate or imitate any specific artist or copyrighted work.

User submissions must not reference race, religion, royalty or politics.

Outputs, the microsite notes, “may vary and may not fully reflect users’ intended wording or meaning.”
