A female dentist in Taipei City, Taiwan, was left bloodied and battered after a muscular man punched her in the face due to his being unable to bear the pain of teeth cleaning.

According to a report by ET Today, the violent incident took place at a dental clinic in the Songshan District on Monday (May 19) at about 9:50am, where a 21-year-old man, described as big and buff, went to have his teeth cleaned.

An air-cond technician tried to stop the man from attacking the dentist

However, he could not handle the pain of the procedure, so he stood up in anger and punched the female dentist in the face. His outburst also caused computer screens to fall to the ground, which was covered in blood splatter.

A technician who was cleaning the air conditioning units at the dental clinic bore witness to the incident. He said that the man kept saying the procedure “hurts a lot” before swearing loudly and attacking the dentist.

The technician tried to stop the attack while asking the man to calm down and communicate properly.

“The male patient was so big, I couldn’t hold him down alone. He continued to punch the female dentist in the face, shouting, “F*ck, I told you it hurts! Can’t it be less severe?” he said.

The technician then rushed out of the clinic and asked passersby to call the police, who arrived after the male patient had left. However, 10 minutes later, the male patient turned himself in at the Songshan Police Station, knowing that he could not escape the situation.

The dentist’s lack of empathy led to his attack

He told police officers that the dentist did not respond kindly when informed that his teeth hurt a lot from the cleaning procedure, so he lost control of his emotions and attacked the dentist.

According toSinar Harian, the dentist suffered bruises to her face, a bleeding nose, and almost went blind in her left eye. She also required surgery for her eye.

The case is now under further investigation.
