Suria KLCC Welcomes The Shirt Bar
Contemporary menswear label The Shirt Bar has officially opened its flagship boutique at Suria KLCC, offering a fresh take on responsible fashion with a playful, modern edge. Spanning over 9,000 square feet, the store promises a distinctive retail experience that blends style, functionality and sustainability.
Located in one of Kuala Lumpur’s most iconic shopping destinations, the boutique features hidden fitting rooms that invite customers to explore and engage with the space in an unexpected way. Designed to spark curiosity, the store reflects the brand’s philosophy: fashion should be enjoyable, ethical and thoughtfully crafted.
“Our flagship boutique is an exciting leap forward in advancing responsible fashion,” said Serene Ang, Founder of The Shirt Bar. “We want our customers to feel good about their choices—not just in style, but in impact.”
Big DebutTo mark the opening, The Shirt Bar is launching a KLCC-exclusive capsule collection of customisable pieces, including oversized T-shirts crafted from organic and Pima cotton, and caps made from recycled plastic bottles. These items can be personalised with “Snap Patches”—velcro badges featuring initials, affirmations and minimalist emblems, designed to add a unique touch.
Built on the principles of slow fashion, The Shirt Bar’s collections combine precision tailoring with sustainable materials such as Tencel™, organic cotton, bamboo and Pima cotton. The brand’s menswear offerings range from elevated casualwear—like ultra-soft polos, breathable tees and stretch chinos—to refined formalwear designed with purpose.
Among the standout pieces is the brand’s signature blazer, which merges classic tailoring with tech innovation. It includes a discreet RFID-shielded pocket to guard against electronic theft, illustrating The Shirt Bar’s commitment to both elegance and functionality.
Customers can also access complimentary personal styling services in-store, with specialists offering curated fashion advice tailored to individual preferences and lifestyles. “Our collections are thoughtfully designed to balance ethics, aesthetics and comfort,” Ang added. “We believe that every intentional fashion choice contributes to meaningful change.”
