More Flood Victims Evacuated In Sabah

KOTA KINABALU,  Sept  14 (Bernama) -- The number of flood victims in Sabah has increased to 400 people from 125 families as of 9 am today, compared to 391 people from 126 families yesterday.

The Sabah Disaster Management Committee (JPBN),  in a statement, said the number of flood victims had, however, dropped to  247 victims (74 families) in Penampang, while flood victims in Beaufort, the number increased to 153 people (51 families).

The victims in Penampang are evacuated at the relief centre (PPS) at Penampang Sports Complex (36 people from six families), Dewan Huguan Siau (147 people from 49 families) and Sekolah Kebangsaan St Paul Kolopis (64 people from 19 families).
