1 dead, another injured in Jalan Bintulu-Sibu accident

KUCHING, Oct 12: One person died while another was injured in an accident that occurred at Jalan Bintulu-Sibu today.

In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 6.40pm, and firefighters from the Sibu Jaya station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the victims were in the vehicle, with the driver pronounced dead by Health Ministry officials, while the other sustained a broken leg.

After the victims were extricated from the vehicle, they were handed over to the police. — DayakDaily
