Man Escorted Off Plane For Alleged Groping, Defends Himself By Saying “M'sia-China Relations Are Good” | WeirdKaya
A Chinese tourist was kicked off a KL-Beijing flight after he allegedly molested an air stewardess by patting her buttocks.

But instead of apologising or showing any form of remorse for his actions, he gave a rather ludicrous excuse to defend himself.

‘How is that considered groping?’

In a close to two-minute long footage which has been circulating online, it showed the tourist arguing with an air stewardess, who called him out for allegedly touching her buttocks without her consent.

In reply, the tourist said he felt it wasn’t the case, claiming that it “wouldn’t count as groping” if it were to happen in Singapore.

As the back and forth continued, the tourist doubled down on his actions, saying:

He also challenged the air stewardess to back up her allegations by pulling out the aircraft’s CCTV footage.

Pulls out diplomatic relations card

However, none of the tourist’s excuses flew with the air stewardess, who insisted that he get off the plane immediately.

In a final attempt to prevent himself from being kicked off the flight, the defiant tourist attempted to defend himself by saying that relations between Malaysia and China were currently “very good”.

Unfortunately for him, that didn’t work as well as he was eventually half-dragged out of the aircraft by two airport security personnel.

Tour guide offers another side of the story

While netizens have since condemned the tourist for allegedly molesting the air stewardess, a tour guide who was on the same flight stepped forward to give more context to the incident.

According to him, there were a host of technical issues that happened before boarding, leaving the tourist and other passengers, who were mostly Chinese nationals, feeling frustrated.

“After they had completed all boarding procedures, they were unable to scan their boarding passes to enter the departure hall as the airline had changed to another aircraft.

“This resulted in some passengers having their seats changed and they had to return to the counter to reprint their boarding passes and get new seats,” he said as reported by China Press.

The tour guide also said many passengers couldn’t understand the flight announcements due to language barriers and claimed no assistance was offered to them, further adding to their frustration.

He added that while he doesn’t condone what the tourist did towards the air stewardess, he said the incident has definitely left a bad impression on Chinese tourists about Malaysia.
