M'sian Disgusted After Finding Fingernail Inside Noodles He Ordered Via Food Platform | WeirdKaya

A local man was left feeling revolted after he found a human fingernail inside a packet of noodles he had ordered via a popular food platform.

Taking to Threads to share the encounter, the OP wrote that he had been craving for mee goreng basah and placed an order via the food platform.

He added that his order was “value for money” as he had enjoyed a discount which led to him paying less than RM15 for it.

Found fingernail

Just as he was taking a second mouthful of noodles, the OP noted that his teeth came in contact with something “hard and sharp”.

When he took a closer look at the foreign object, he was shocked to realise that it was actually a fingernail — a serious health violation.

Following the horrific discovery, the OP said he proceeded to vomit out the noodles he had consumed not too long ago.

Reactions from netizens were that of horror and disgust, who slammed the food stall for failing to practice basic hygiene.

However, it’s not known whether the OP had lodged a formal complaint with the Ministry of Health (MOH) over the disgusting discovery.

Pro tip: Be sure to check your meal for any foreign objects before digging in!
