One in Five New Protons Is Now ElectrifiedThe rapid ramp-up of the e.MAS brand has altered the composition of Proton’s broader showroom footprint.
With total group sales standing at 182,510 units through October, electrified models now account for 19.58% of all Proton vehicles delivered in 2026. That ratio means nearly one in every five new Protons hitting local roads is an e.MAS, marking a notable shift as the automaker closes in on its first 200,000-unit annual sales volume since 2002.
On a related note, Pro-Net is giving the public a say in its design future through the Proton e.MAS Impianku contest. Running until 30 November 2026, the AI-powered initiative invites Malaysians to submit their ideal e.MAS vehicle concepts, with top entries standing to win personalised 3D-printed scale models of their designs, while there are also cash prizes for university students.
