SBF, EPF out to heighten awareness of retirement savings plan

KUCHING (Jan 21): The Sarawak Business Federation (SBF) and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will work together to raise awareness of EPF as a retirement savings tool.

This was agreed upon when an EPF delegation led by regional director Aminuddin Abdul Aziz paid a courtesy call on SBF at the latter’s secretariat here yesterday.

“The discussions focused on fostering collaboration, raising awareness of EPF as a retirement savings tool, and planning joint engagements with SBF member associations,” said SBF in a statement.

On hand to receive the EPF delegation was SBF president Dato Sri Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg, who was accompanied by the deputy president Datuk Philip Ting and deputy secretary-general Louis Ting.
