Prime Video Releases First Trailer For The Bluff

Prime Video has released the official trailer for The Bluff, an action-packed period thriller set against the dramatic landscapes of the Cayman Islands, ahead of its global premiere on February 25, 2026.

Led by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the film introduces Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a formidable and morally complex heroine forced to confront her violent past to protect her family. The newly released trailer offers a glimpse into a world of sword fights, ambushes and raw hand-to-hand combat, blending physical intensity with emotional stakes.

Directed by Cayman Islands native Frank E. Flowers, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Ballarini, The Bluff draws heavily on its setting, featuring striking real-world locations such as Skull Cave and the island’s iconic bluff. The environment becomes more than a backdrop, shaping both the story’s tension and its visual identity.

The film is produced by Anthony and Joe Russo alongside Angela Russo-Otstot through AGBO, continuing the studio’s push into character-driven action storytelling following projects such as Avengers: Endgame and Extraction. While action is front and centre, the Russo-led production leans into emotional depth, anchoring the spectacle in personal consequence.
