Just when they decide to start the celebrations, Nikita, who also works as an Officer in the ATU calls Jai and urges him to visit the headquarters as soon as he can because the Chief of RAW, Gill, is coming to ATU for a briefing and our man needs to be there. Jai understands the gravity of the situation and quickly gears up, leaving his family disappointed. He learns from RAW Agent Wasim that someone is planning to assassinate Aditya Singhania, the upcoming Prime Minister of India. Wasim also informs that there’s a mole in ATU and Jai must be careful. He promises him to meet soon and tell him everything he can but soon, Jai comes across a different level of crisis.

Spoilers Ahead

What’s Wrong With Kiran?

Kiran was very disappointed when Jai left Trisha’s birthday party before it even started. Jai valued his duty at ATU the most and his longstanding commitment to his job proved that was a man of his words. But Kiran could not let it slide because she cancelled her plans of meeting her friends since she thought Jai would be there. That’s why Kiran decides to continue with her plans for the party with her friend Janhavi and goes out of the house. She is so angry that she does not inform Trisha about it, leaving her worried. Upon arriving at the party, they meet Dev and Rohit, who seem to be Janhavi’s friends. The four of them decide to go on a long drive together, and on the way, Rohit seems pretty invested in Kiran. While Trisha searches for Kiran at home, a man who’s actually working for a mob boss named Yakub, disguises himself as Jahnavi’s dad, Abhay, and calls her. Soon, Trisha and Abhay go out to search for their girls.

Why Does Gill Hate Jai?

Jai and Gill have been friends for a very long time, most likely because of their similar jobs in the intelligence departments. However, when Gill arrives at the ATU station and Jai greets him like the usual, he starts to get aggressive. Gill makes it very clear that Jai must treat him with respect and use formal terms to address him, which makes the atmosphere uneasy for the ATU Chief. Jai is not at all accustomed to talk to Gill like that and his sudden attitude surprises him. You can see that Gill just demands respect from Jai and wants to keep him under constant watch. However, Gill fails to understand that Jai is in no mood to be micromanaged and take orders. When Gill orders Jai to be alert about Aditya’s assassination, the ATU Chief decides to get to the root of the matter by knowing his source of information. Jai injects Gill with a glucose injection so that he spills the name of his informant. Gill only gives it away because he is scared to die.

Why Does Mehr Kill The Real Max?

Mehr,  who works for Yakub, meets renowned photographer Max Freyer inside a flight, befriends him with her charm and once the plane gets the air, they enter into the lavatory. Max thinks that Mehr is getting intimate, but she is just searching for the right moment to kill him. Just as they get intimate, Mehr chokes Max, killing him instantly; she then murders an air hostess as she unfortunately witnesses the whole thing. Actually, Max has been hired by the Singhanias to take photographs of Aditya, the incumbent Prime Minister. Yakub and his goons have chosen Aditya as their next target. One of their gang members has already changed his appearance by plastic surgery to look like Max but he still needs security clearance. That’s why Yakub sends Mehr, since she is well trained to kill the real Max and take his Identity Card. Mehr takes the card from Max’s dead body and gets ready to get out of the plane. Once she’s out, Mehr detonates a bomb in the plane, killing all the passengers. Her sister, Shanaya, takes the card from her and they threaten Yakub for more money regarding the mission. They do not understand that Yakub is a no-nonsense man and pretty soon, Shanaya gets killed by the fake Max, who’s a skilled sniper.

What Happened At Aditya’s College Bachelorette Party?

Years ago, when Aditya and Prithvi studied at St. Stephen’s, they came across some ill-mannered boys who were harassing a girl named Sheetal. Prithvi did not intervene but Aditya, being a moral and responsible person, protested against the perpetrators. When a fight broke out, one of those guys slipped and fell, ultimately passing out because of the sudden injury. Aditya never knew that the guy died before he was hospitalized and for years, he had zero clue that his mother Naina was behind all this. Naina hired a man named KK who was like an exterminator, cleaning up after the sins committed by Singhanias. Soon after the incident, KK wasted no time in destroying the police reports and silencing the people who witnessed the guy’s death. Naina was desperate to put her son on the Prime Minister’s throne, use her husband’s assassination as a card to gain sympathy and maintain their family image at any cost. Only Naina, Prithvi and KK knew about this incident and soon Aditya also came to know about it. One evening, journalist Mehek Ahuja calls Aditya and threatens him to expose his “murderous” past before he takes oath as the Prime Minister. Aditya, who’s already heartbroken after the plane crash, decides to hold a meeting himself and confess everything in front of the world. Naina warns him deliberately, even urges Aditya’s assistant Pooja to modify the speech but Divya firmly supports her brother’s decision.

Who Is The Mole In Singhania Family?

Vikrant had always been a baggage for the Singhanias, mostly because of his drunk nature. He was married to Aditya’s sister, Divya and made her life a living hell with his antics. Vikrant mistreated her so much and did not care about her political career, let alone her freedom to make decisions. Due to his abusive nature, Divya got pregnant untimely and had to abort the child because she had political rallies coming up soon. It developed some serious complications in her organs and Divya suffered from stomach cramps pretty often. This is the Vikrant we all have seen mostly throughout the entire season of “24” only because he has wanted to portray himself as so. He is actually in an illicit affair with journalist Mehek Ahuja for a considerable amount of time, acting as the perfect mole inside the Singhania family. For the time being, it is not clear if Vikrant wants to ascend to the Prime Minister’s throne or not but he has made it very clear that he cannot stand Aditya. Aditya has always been a huge obstacle in his path as he has stopped Vikrant from leading a reckless life. Vikrant just wants to see Aditya get stripped away from all his power and that is the sole reason why he has sent Ahuja information on his past.

Where Are Janhavi And Kiran?

Kiran and Jahnavi get kidnapped by Dev while Rohit drives their car towards an unknown location. For hours, Kiran tries every method she knows but Rohit is still not convinced to leave them alone. Actually, Dev and Rohit work for Yakub, who is planning to assassinate Aditya Singhania at all costs. Kiran and Jahnavi are both valuable pawns in the game to keep Jai, the best ATU agent, distracted. The two boys take Kiran and Jahnavi to an abandoned industrial area but they eventually manage to escape from the car. Kiran snatches the phone of a guy after he starts to mistreat them and from there, she calls her mother. Trisha can only hear a Logistics building name before the girls escape since Rohit and Dev chase them again. While running from them, Jahnavi gets fatally hit by a car and she lies there in a pool of blood. The two boys flee the scene with Kiran because they think that Jahnavi is dead and hence, she will be of no use to Yakub anymore. However, Jahnavi is alive and she gets admitted to a local hospital while the boys take Kiran to Yakub. They keep her tied inside an abandoned room while Yakub prepares to call Jai and control him using Kiran as a pawn.

Is Wasim Dead?

Wasim was highly active in the field for the past few weeks and after the plane crash, he understood that it can never be a coincidence. Multiple sources simultaneously suggested that Aditya’s life might be in danger and Wasim started a solo investigation without alerting his department at RAW. He has a trusted informant named Sahil, who gives him a memory card with valuable information about the assassins planning for Aditya’s murder. All this time, Wasim has been very careful in hiding his location and covering his tracks to avoid information leakage. He meets with Sahil inside an old cinema hall but just after Wasim gets the SD card, someone shoots Sahil. Before Wasim can save him, the goons kill Sahil and leave the RAW Agent with an injury. Wasim calls Jai and the ATU Chief immediately arrives at the scene to help him escape the shootout. Jai manages to shoot a few thugs down but he loses Wasim when a thug fires from the hall. Before dying, Wasim hands the SD card to Jai because he is the only man in ATU whom he trusts blindly.

Is Nikita A Traitor?

After Wasim’s death, Jai scans the SD card and sends its necessary information to Jia, who works at the ATU since Nikita is not available at her desk. Jia tries scanning it and reveals that it definitely contains information but that can’t be extracted due to a strong encryption. To Jai’s surprise, it turns out that the high-level encryption of the card has come from Nikita’s computer. Initially, Jai avoids Nikita at all costs and even hides the card from her since he treats her like a suspect. However, after he confronts Nikita to know the truth, they fall out, instantly. Since Jia gets the information from Nikita’s computer, she scans a bit further and reveals that the encryption date on the memory chip dates back to January 14. On that day, Jai and Nikita spent that whole day together at her house and that’s enough reason for him to stop suspecting her. There is no way Nikita could remotely access her ATU desk, let alone encrypt a memory card while sitting at home. Nikita stops talking with Jai because she has never expected such behavior from him.

Why Does Abhay Kill Janhavi?

Abhay was planted as a misdirection in Trisha’s path even though he took her to all those locations where Jahnavi and Kiran could be. He was trying to sabotage everything from the very beginning and even befriended Jai to escape any kind of suspicion. When Abhay knew that Jahnavi had survived, he knew that she could be a serious threat to the entire operation. If the police or ATU decided to interrogate Jahnavi, she would’ve spilled everything regarding the two boys, Yakub and Kiran’s location. That’s why, Abhay kills Jahnavi with his own hands once he finds a safe corridor to her room. He uses this opportunity to lie and take Trisha to a secret location with him, which is actually near Yakub’s hideout. However, while all this is happening, Jai has caught a hold of Pervaz, one of Yakub’s goons. He also helps Pervaz escape from prison, since he promised him to give away Kiran’s location. Pervaz takes him to a phone booth from where Jai discovers a body hidden inside the car trunk and it ultimately turns out to be the real Abhay Gupta’s. By the time Jai informs Trisha, she has already set out with Abhay in the car. Upon knowing everything, Trisha manipulates Abhay by making him think that she is falling sick. Once Abhay stops the car, she gets out, makes him unconscious by hitting a stone on the back of his head and ties him up before calling ATU headquarters. However, Jia picks up the call since Nikita is not on her desk and instead of sending help, he informs Yakub who sends his goons at the location. Trisha gets captured by those men and is ultimately taken into Yakub’s hideout.

Does Jai Kill Nikita?

When Trisha called, Nikita was not there because Jai had taken her hostage. Jai was not a terrorist but he was acting strange right when he abandoned Trisha after visiting them in the hospital. Yakub called him and threatened to kill his daughter if he did not listen to what he said, and Jai could not risk it all. He abandoned his phone at the hospital parking lot, drove a car, previously left (by Yakub), to the ATU while being constantly monitored by the gang leader. Yakub sabotaged Jai because he did not want the information on the card to be fully decrypted. Jia was stalling the decryption process for a long time before Nikita hired an IT guy named Mihir for the job and he was really good at it. Yakub has prepared a fake SD card, makes Jai replace it and orders him to take out Nikita at all costs. Jai agrees after he finds out that every CCTV in the ATU has been sabotaged (thanks to Jia). He still manages to let Nikita wear a bulletproof jacket which cannot be detected by the CCTV and upon arriving at the location, shoots her in the chest. Jai makes it seem like he has killed Nikita because he knows that Yakub’s men are watching. However, shortly after all of them leave the scene, Nikita regains consciousness and informs Tej about everything that has happened.

How Does Tej Find Out About Jia’s Betrayal?

Tej was always insecure when he saw Nikita and Jai talk, because he was in love with her. He became jealous because in the past, Jai and Nikita had an affair. That’s why he could not accept Jai’s leadership in the ATU and even called Gill, after finding out about Wasim’s death. He made things really complicated for Jai and Nikita but Tej did not seem to understand. When he sees the security footage of Jai threatening Nikita in his cabin and making her wear a bulletproof jacket, he feels a bit strange. However, Tej does not dare to say anything to anyone when Nikita calls him and asks for help. She also urges Tej to let Jia know about it but he stops after overhearing something that strikes suspicion in his mind. Jia is telling Mihir that she has just met Nikita in the records section and when Tej overhears it, he immediately thinks that something is wrong. Tej understands that Jai has been correct all along, he has kept things under wraps for all the right reasons. He helps Nikita walk into ATU from the backdoor where there’s not much CCTV coverage and tells her about his suspicion. When Nikita agrees, Tej brings Jia in for interrogation and she ultimately confesses everything.

What Happens To Jai, Trisha And Kiran In The End?

Kiran was trying to escape Yakub’s hideout because she knew that they would harm her and Jai. Rohit decided to help her out when he saw Yakub’s monstrous side during Dev’s death. He knew that once his job was done, Yakub would not hesitate to kill him too and getting out of there was the only option if he wanted to live. Rohit and Kiran almost escaped until the latter saw Yakub’s men bringing Trisha into the compound. Kiran came back because she did not want to leave her mother alone in such a terrible situation. On the other hand, Yakub keeps giving directions to Jai to walk into the Labor Union Party where Aditya Singhania is coming. Jai almost gets caught in the security enclosure until Farooq, one of his old friends who’s in the security team, recognizes him and stops checking his briefcase. Jai meets the fake Max Ferraro in the packaging building since it will provide a clear shot at Aditya once he takes the podium. Max makes Jai assemble his sniper rifle so that if they get caught, the ATU Chief’s fingerprints will be discovered upon investigation.

As Max tries to lock into Aditya for taking the shot, Jai throws a piece of glass down from the other window which alerts the guards. Once the SFG commandos notice it, one of the guards comes in to check and gets into a fight with Jai. He pushes the bodyguard down to the ground and fires from his gun to alert the others about the assassination. The sound causes the crowd to disperse and even though Max takes the shot, it hits one of the bodyguards near Aditya’s podium. Jai makes it seem like the guard fired the gun so that Max sees it that way and Yakub learns that he has tried to do his job. Max flees from the scene while Jai gets arrested and taken to custody by the commandos. Yakub, disappointed at the botched assassination attempt, tells his men to kill both Kiran and Trisha. As the goons hold them at gunpoint, Jai gets dragged away towards prison because everyone thinks that he has tried to assassinate Aditya. So, do you think that Jai will be able to prove his innocence at court and see his family once again?
