Garmin Run Marathon Series Malaysia 2026 Registration Opens

Garmin has officially expanded its annual running event beyond Asia, rebranding the former Garmin Run Asia Series as the Garmin Run Marathon Series for 2026.

The series will now take place across 13 capital cities worldwide, including new locations in the United States, as Garmin aims to grow its global running community and engage more than 120,000 participants through virtual and on-ground race experiences.

In Malaysia, the Garmin Run Marathon Series will be held on 1 November 2026 in front of Mahkamah Syariah, Putrajaya.

Garmin Malaysia said the event continues to champion its “From Zero to Hero” philosophy, encouraging runners of all levels — from first-time participants to experienced athletes — to improve their personal performance and embrace a healthier lifestyle through running.

Exclusive registration for Public Bank Visa cardmembers opens on 25 May 2026 at 2pm, including an additional 5% discount on flash sale prices. Public registration begins on 26 May 2026 at 2pm.

Alongside the physical race, the Garmin Asia Virtual Run 2026 will run from 1 June to 2 August 2026, allowing runners to participate remotely from anywhere.

To support participants ahead of race day, Garmin will also expand its Garmin Run Club (GRC) training ecosystem with weekly sessions at Sky Field and TAR UMT Arena. From July to October, sessions will increase to twice weekly, led by experienced coaches and pacers including Akashah and Faiz.

Garmin Malaysia said this year’s event will also feature stronger female pacer representation, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to inclusivity within the local running community.

Registration details and updates are available via Garmin Malaysia’s official website.
