Jayprakash’s father, Ghanshyam, was a constable in the police force for years and since then, he was inspired to join the police. Jayprakash desperately searches for the missing children, Sahil and Suman, but he fails to make ends meet. However, when he comes across their bodies in the forest, Jayprakash is petrified to see the cruelty. He wants to catch the criminals, teach them a lesson but this is one of the toughest cases of his career, which also leaves the department shaken.

Sonali Bendre as Mona Arora

Veteran Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre portrays the character of Mona Arora, who’s the mother of Sahil and Suman. She is married to Ashok, and the two of them love their children a lot. Mona works as a teacher in a local school and after the traumatic incident, the students start to tease her for her mental state. Mona goes into denial and does not believe that the bodies recovered in the forest belong to Sahil and Suman. Bendre’s character goes through immense pain throughout the film, which is inexplicable and unfortunate for any mother. Unlike his wife, Mona, Ashok is not outspoken and hides his grief when the dead bodies of his children show up in the forest. Despite being a practical man, he hires a private investigator to find if those bodies belong to Suman and Sahil or not.

Dibyendu Bhattacharya as Indranil Hajra

Jayprakash reports directly to his senior, IPS Officer Indranil Hajra, played by Dibyendu Bhattacharya. Indranil is impressed with Jayprakash’s work but he still has doubts on him, mostly because of his young age. When things get messy, Indranil calls Forensic expert Dr. Biswajit Barua from Bengal to assist with the bloodwork and evidence. Indranil wants Inspector Chauhan to handle the case when Jayprakash fails to turn in some solid evidence regarding the dead children. Dibyendu Bhattacharya has worked in movies like “Fateh,” “The Bengal Files,” “Kapkapiii,” “Mission Raniganj,” “Kangal Malsat,” “Ghuspaith: Between Borders,” “Section 375,” “Bahut Hua Sammaan,” “Pari,” and “Satyameva Jayate.” Dibyendu has mainly worked in TV series such as “Criminal Justice,” “Selection Day,” “Thinkistan,” “Dhanbad Blues,” “Sacred Games,” “24: India,” “Mirzapur,” and “Ray.”

Despite facing struggles in his life, Ghanshyam has never lost faith in hard work; he is a staunch believer in the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Ghanshyam likes to keep everyone, especially the senior officers in the police, satisfied by cooking them mutton curry. He thinks his son doesn’t care for him much but Jayprakash is worried after Ghanshyam falls sick; he just cannot be there since the police force needs him.
