Lokal Legends: Inside Scoop Drops 9 Limited-Edition Flavours Honouring Malaysian Brands

Inside Scoop has partnered with several local brands for this year’s Lokal Legends limited-edition ice cream lineup.

The Lokal Legends 2026 lineup comprises nine flavours, including a few that Malaysians grew up with. The flavours are inspired by the snacks we bring to school, the treats we share with family, and the familiar comforts we still reach for today.

To celebrate the launch of the new flavours, Inside Scoop transformed its Galeria SA Sentral outlet into a Lokal Legends Supermarket. The immersive experience invites guests to explore each dedicated brand aisle, discover the stories behind each collaboration, and sample the flavours.

Among the most notable flavours is BOH’s Teh Tarik. Its inclusion to the Lokal Legends lineup is significant as the brand celebrates almost 97 years of brewing heritage in Malaysia.

All nine ice-cream flavours are available as single pints and the 9-Scoop Party Pack, which has all the flavours in one box.

Guests can elevate the experience with the Party Pack, which includes an exclusive Lokal Legends edition Ice Cream Passport and sticker pack. The Passport lets guests collect stamps and stickers along the way, adding an extra layer of immersion as they celebrate every Lokal Legend in this year’s lineup.

Lokal Legends 2026 is available at all participating Inside Scoop outlets nationwide from 10 August.

Inside Scoop’s Lokal Legends is an annual campaign launched around Malaysia’s National Day and Merdeka celebrations.

It turns iconic homegrown brands and childhood snacks into limited-edition artisanal ice cream flavours — a celebration of local identity through the one thing Malaysians never argue about.

The 2026 collection takes a supermarket theme, featuring nine flavours in collaboration with BOH, ZUS Coffee, Secret Recipe, Beryl’s, Farm Fresh, Gardenia, Mister Potato, Oriental Kopi, and Thumbs. It launches across Inside Scoop stores nationwide.

Past editions have included Gardenia Twiggies Choc-A-Lot, GSC Caramel Popcorn, Julie’s Le-mond Lemon, Beryl’s Gula Melaka Chocolate, ZUS Coffee Spanish Latté, and Farm Fresh Choco Malt Kaw.

Each year’s collection comes with themed packaging, collectible stickers, and an interactive Ice Cream Passport — or party packs for those who take their nostalgia seriously.
