It wouldn’t be raya without spending the day visiting countless open houses. While the tradition can be fun, it can also be exhausting, especially for kids.

In a recent video shared by user @lepatliat8 shared a moment where he and his family were on their way to visit a relative’s open house in Klang.

Kids will be kids

In the video, a boy is humorously shown struggling to put his shoes on upon arriving at their relative’s house. However, his attempts were unsuccessful due to various reasons.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the father of the boy, @lepatliat8, revealed how on their way to Klang, he and his wife had told their 7-year-old son to sleep 1st so that he wouldn’t feel sleepy during the open house.

As kids will be kids, the boy initially refused but ended up falling asleep halfway through the journey.

“My wife nudged my arm and gestured for me to look at our son”

The father explained how he woke his son up and told him to put on his shoes after parking the car. That’s when his wife pointed out what their son was trying to do.

When they reached their aunt’s house, the boy, still half-asleep, was seen trying to put a scented gel freshner tub on his foot, thinking it was his shoe.

Netizens too were amused by the situation, which prompted them to flood the comment section with their reactions!
