Kate Spade New York’s Pop-up at The Exchange TRX is a celebration of joy
1 month ago
September ushers in a wave of excitement in the fashion sphere, with new trends and the autumn/winter collections making their debut. Kate Spade New York takes the spotlight this year with its autumn campaign featuring Taraji P. Henson, Nicola Coughlan and Marsai Martin. This collection breathes new life into classic prints, proportions and heritage details with fresh, innovative updates.
In partnership with the esteemed Italian textile mill Limonta, the American brand has introduced a new jacquard fabric that boasts unparalleled depth and dimension. Other than that, a short film starring the three celebrities will premiere on September 5 to introduce the Global Fund for Women’s Mental Health. This initiative aims to advance mental health solutions for women worldwide and promote greater access to joy.
To celebrate the new collection, Kate Spade New York has launched a vibrant pop-up in Kuala Lumpur. Located on the ground floor of The Exchange TRX, the pop-up showcases the brand’s hallmark elements, such as its iconic Kate Spade green and the Spade Flower motif.
The highlight of the event is the refreshed Spade Flower Jacquard handbag series, with the black version available exclusively at the pop-up. Other colour options will be offered at all Kate Spade New York stores.
Celebrating joy through style, the pop-up invites visitors to dive into the latest collections while exploring their own definitions of joy. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a large-scale flip board that questions, ‘What does joy mean to you?’. A QR code is provided for visitors to answer a few questions and receive a complimentary treat upon completion.
Shoppers can also personalise a beaded phone strap with exclusive Kate Spade New York charms available only at this pop-up. To make the experience even more special, guests can snap photos in the fish-eye lens photo booth, with each photo printed and framed with a Spade Flower Jacquard border.
The Kate Spade New York Pop-Up runs until September 15, 2024.
