Join in the foodie festivities at the Tiger Crystal Food Festival, where you’ll get access to Malaysia’s favourite street eats in one place all weekend long. The vast space has been split into four distinct “food zones”: Tiger Crystal x CU Mart, Foodie Lane, Supper Club, and Dessert Bar. You’ll also spot some familiar food vendors such as Donut Plan, Isan Kaya, and Dáo Desserts in its lineup. Aside from stuffing your faces and washing your bites down with some Tiger Crystal, try your hand at the various games while enjoying live music from a DJ lineup.

3. HARNESS YOUR CREATIVE ENERGY WITH MOSSFEST 2024When: 6 to 8 September 2024 | 11am to 7pm
Where: Mossery HQ, Petaling Jaya
Calling all stationery and journaling nerds! It’s time to embrace your creative passions and inner doodlers with MossFest happening all weekend long. We’re talking workshops, live portraits, product launches, and journaling sessions. Workshop highlights on the schedule include a pottery with 22 Craft Studio, a coffee sensory with Cloudcatcher, Trash to Treasure journaling with Jane Lee, and so much more. Ring in Malaysia Day early with Semua House’s Kloset Ka.in, presented in collaboration with Apom! Featuring local apparel and accessories brands, this will be your ultimate destination over the weekend for affordable shops. While you might be immersed in your thrifting adventures, don’t forget to check out the lineup of art and food vendors that will also be present over the weekend. Kita Food Festival 2024 is well underway and this year’s star-studded lineup is not to be missed! This weekend’s agenda includes Saturday’s ‘A Food Affair’ and Sunday’s ‘Big Sunday Barbecue’. The former is a day-long event that includes masterclasses led by industry professionals, Kita Conversations keynotes and chats, as well as a marketplace that features top Malaysian F&B producers. Meanwhile, the ‘Big Sunday Barbecue’ for more smoky and tasty eats with culinary giants behind the grills. Of course, there will be some wines, cocktails, mocktails, and more that pair exceptionally well with barbecue dishes available on rotation.

7. TAKE IN THE TUNES OF EAST MALAYSIA WITH ‘SOUNDS OF BORNEO’When: 7 September 2024

Immerse yourself in the beats of East Malaysia at ‘Sounds of Borneo’. This one-night-only concert showcases the diverse tunes and melodies of the region, starring Alena Murang, Marsha Milan, as well as Velvet Aduk on vocals. Not only will you feel the power of music pulsing through the halls, you will also get an unparalleled look into the rich heritage of East Malaysian music. This occasion marks the three vocalists’ first time performing in the venue, accompanied by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
