ANEXT Bank recognized as Best Digital Bank in Singapore

ANEXT Bank, a digital wholesale bank in Singapore and a subsidiary of Ant International, has been named the Best Digital Bank in Singapore by The Asian Banker in its 2025 Global Top Digital Banks Ranking.

Since its launch in June 2022, ANEXT Bank has focused on serving micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Singapore and supporting international businesses expanding locally. By December 31, 2024, its customer base included business owners from 79 nationalities, with over 70% classified as micro businesses, nearly 39% owned by women, and more than 37% beginning their banking relationship during their startup phase.

The bank introduced remote onboarding, enabling foreign business owners to open accounts without visiting Singapore. It also offers cross-border payment services, multi-currency accounts, and embedded finance solutions integrated into digital platforms. These features aim to reduce barriers for MSMEs and improve access to financial services.

Last month, ANEXT Bank appointed Kai Qiu as CEO designate. Effective as of March 31 this year, Toh Su Mei will step down as CEO and continue as an honorary advisor to Ant International, recognizing her contributions to the company.
