Goldheart Paints the Town Pink for International Women’s Day
2 days ago
From infiltrating the culture through Hollywood blockbusters to inciting change through social and political movements, the soft shade of pink has become ubiquitous in representing the stealth power of femininity. On this year’s International Women’s Day, the delicate hue once again reigned supreme, taking over an intimate space within Sunway Pyramid.
Homegrown jewellery brand Goldheart, in close collaboration with BURO Malaysia, hosted a dazzling affair where elegance and empowerment seamlessly intertwined. Held at the brand’s newly revamped store, the ‘Pretty in Pink’ event drew out discerning women from all walks of life, including Friends of BURO Nikita Menon, Vanessa Tevi, and Yuth Gan.
The evening kicked off with a welcome speech by BURO’s Editor-in-Chief Jason Lim, who subsequently handed the mic over to Tomei’s Head of Group Marketing Lam Kok Wah. Captivating the interest of the audience with his casual approach, echoing Goldheart’s Everyday Elegance philosophy, Lam introduced the brand’s extensive catalogue of jewellery creations.
All eyes were then on fashion insider Andrea Kee, who took the floor for a styling masterclass. Bringing forth her well-honed creative expertise, she put together five stunning looks that showcased the versatility of Goldheart’s jewellery. Camera flashes promptly ensued as the model, parading the exquisite ensembles, glided across the room.
One of the jewellery pieces that caught the guests’ attention was the 18K yellow gold necklace from the Pearl collection. Highlighting its dynamic design, Kee expertly layered the necklace with a shorter piece for an ultra-chic look. The stacking technique also elevated the Mother of Pearl range as she paired the V-shaped diamond rings with the V-shaped cultured pearl rings in pursuit of a bolder silhouette.
Audible gasps could be heard upon the unveiling of Goldheart’s Diamond collection. An embodiment of luxury, the Opulent Grace necklace in 18K white gold stole the spotlight with its cluster of diamonds that gently cascaded into a refined drop. The teardrop earrings and open rings that came in tow lent a blend of old-world grace and new-age innovation.
Inspired by the artistry behind every creation, the guests made a beeline for the counter where they tried their hand at assembling their own look. While some opted for minimalist approach in their styling, others held on to the ‘go big or go home’ motto. Each curated look was promptly captured and posted on social media as they vied for an exclusive prize by Goldheart.
The timer on the styling challenge eventually went off, which prompted the guests to return to their seats, waiting for the result with bated breath. Savouring the tension in the room, Lam sauntered to the front and announced Yuth Gan as the winner. The Oui Bakehouse & Café co-founder and content creator walked away with the coveted Goldheart pendant worth RM1,229.
But the rest of the party did not go home empty-handed. As the event drew to a close, the guests were presented with gift bags comprising an exclusive jewellery box by Goldheart and beauty supplies by Clarins. These heartfelt offerings were to ensure that each guest left not only with cherished memories but also with a keepsake to enjoy long after the celebration ended.
