Yes 5G gives 44GB free data in support of Rahmah Rebate

Yes 5G has a habit of wanting to be the “-est” in everything they do. Cheapest postpaid iPhone plan, fastest data speed… you get the idea. This Raya, they got to be the Rahmahest.

It all started with the Ministry of Communications announcing the Rahmah Rebate incentive for Hari Raya. The incentive provides 5GB of data for free, for a minimum of one day’s use. This incentive is offered to all postpaid and prepaid users across the major telcos, on the first day of Aidilfitri.

Instead of offering the minimum and calling it Yes 5GB, Yes 5G did the -est thing and offers 44GBs to all their new and existing customers. Instead of one day, this data will be valid for two days. And instead of just the first day of Aidilfitri, this free data has been available for redemption since March 28th—today is the last chance to claim it!

This first-ever Rahmah Rebate is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen relationships through online communications. The free data allows for video calls with friends and loved ones, balik kampung map navigation, or just downloading all those Raya gifs and stickers from Whatsapp chats.

If you’re a Yes 5G user, you can claim your free data through the MyYes app and tapping on the +ADD-ON button.

Adding to the festive excitement, Yes 5G is also running its Raya Bonanza campaign where you can win an iPhone 16, iPhone 13, or duit raya. All you need to do is to collect entries by signing up for plans, switching to Yes 5G, and paying your bill.
