Deals: Galaxy Watch Ultra $70 off, Samsung and SanDisk portable SSDs, Bose Diamond Ultra Buds, and more
1 day ago
Today’s Androidverse deals are headlined by a notable and quite sizable $270 price drop on Galaxy Watch Ultra – just remember you can score one at up to 50% off with a trade-in right now. From there we move over to some external storage deals – Samsung’s 4TB 2,000MB/s T9 portable SSD is up to $70 off and SanDisk’s latest 2,000MB/s Creator Pro portable SSDs is now starting at the $125 low – but we also have some solid deals on Eve’s latest Energy (Matter) smart plug as well as the Bose Diamond 60th Anniversary Edition QuietComfort Ultra Bud sat $70 off. All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.
Amazon now offering big-time price drop on Galaxy Watch Ultra from $379 (Reg. $650), or 50% off with tradeWhile Samsung is still offering up to 50% in savings on its latest flagship Galaxy Watch Ultra directly on its site via enhanced trade-in offers, there are some serious straight up cash deals up for grabs. You will find all case and band options available at $230 off directly from Samsung, but we just spotted an Amazon listing for the Titanium Gray model with the official orange Marine band down at $378.75 shipped. That’s over $270 off compared to the $230 off you’ll find directly from Samsung without a trade-in.
Again, on the official Samsung site you can score a notable $230 off literally any combination of case color and official band style/color. This is a notable deal for sure, but Amazon has gotten aggressive a few times this year to undercut this ongoing Samsung deal, and today is one of those times.
Outside of an ultra-rare discount we featured on the silver variant that lasted not much longer than a few hours at most, today’s deal is delivering one of the best straight up cash discounts we have tracked to date and a new Amazon low on this particular configuration.
As I have pointed out in the past, the Galaxy Ultra is one of a few smartwatches from the major brands that really appeals to me personally. It sits right alongside the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and flagship OnePlus models in terms of aesthetics for me – the Pixel and Apple Series models are nice, they just don’t have that classic timepiece appeal for me the way the others do. The Ultra, of course, also features just about all of the usual health and fitness smartwatch features just about anyone could need, and today, all at a price well below the regular $650 list.
Everything you need to know about Galaxy Watch Ultra is of course waiting for you over at 9to5Google.
Samsung’s 4TB 2,000MB/s T9 portable SSD hasn’t been this low in over a year, now down at $280 (Reg. $350+)We are now tracking a deal at Samsung that drops its T9 portable SSD down to $279.99 shipped. This particular drive with a $470 price tag has mostly been sitting at the $350 mark at Amazon, meaning you’re looking at a solid 20% discount right now. It dropped to the $296 mark earlier this year in February, but today’s deal knocks it further down to mark one of the lowest prices we have tracked for it in over a year. This is one of the best times to grab it if you are eyeing a speedy and reliable 4TB drive for your workloads, and you can learn more about it below.
Samsung’s T9 is among the best portable SSDs out there, perfect for just about anyone who is looking to score an SSD with USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 tech and transfer rates of up to 2,000MB/s. This drive is also available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, both of which are also down to $129.99 and $179.99 shipped from their usual going rates. The T9 is also one of the more compact external SSDs on the market and you can even use it to shoot 4K 120FPS footage straight from iPhone 16. Be sure to check out our hands-on review to learn more about this drive in detail.
SanDisk’s latest Creator Pro portable SSDs are also discounted right now at Amazon with prices starting at $125. These new drives can also deliver speeds of up to 2,000MB/s and are now up to 31% off.
SanDisk’s latest 2,000MB/s Creator Pro portable SSDs now start at $125 lows (Up to 31% off) Eve’s latest Energy (Matter) smart plug is now 25% off once again down at $30 Prime shippedWhile we tracked a number of notable Eve HomeKit and Matter smart home gear deals as part of the Amazon Big Spring sale late last month, it is offering folks another chance to score a solid25% off the latest Energy (Matter) smart plug. Regularly $40, it is now resting down at $29.95 once again to match our previous mention. Shipping is free for Prime members or in orders over $35.
This deal lands on par with most of the best price drops on this model since its release. There were a number of drops to $32 for Prime Day events in 2024, but this is matching the most readily available discounts we have tracked in over a year outside of a couple very short-lived on-page coupon deals.
It’s really all in the name here. This is Eve’s latest Matter-equipped smart plug that works alongside HomeKit gear as well as setups firmly planted within the Alexa and Google Assistant ecosystems so you can “seamlessly control your home across smartphones and voice assistants of all major platforms.”
It, of course, allows you to control just about anything you have plugged into it with “your voice or an app, and control your appliances on the go or based on presence.”
Here are the hubs compatible with the system for complete integration (there’s a lot of them and you probably already have one): iOS/iPadOS 16.4 (or later) or Android 8.1 (or later) plus a hub of your chosen platform: Apple Home: Apple TV 4K (2nd gen / 3rd gen 128 GB), HomePod (2nd gen), HomePod mini / Samsung SmartThings: SmartThings Hub v3 / Amazon Alexa: Echo (4th gen), Echo Hub, Echo Plus (2nd gen), Echo Show 8 (3rd gen), Echo Show 10 (3rd gen), Echo Studio, eero 6 / 6+ / Pro 6 / Pro 6E / Max 7 / Google Home: Nest Hub (2nd gen), Nest Hub Max, Nest Wifi, Nest Wifi Pro.”
The Bose Diamond 60th Anniversary Edition QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and headphones have been quite popular among 9to5Toys readers, and both of the in-ear sets are now seeing a 48-hour flash sale with up to $70 in savings. While we have seen some deals for less, you will now find solid price drops live on the sweet off-white and campaigned-like vibe on the Diamond 60th models, and all of the details await below.
Again we have seen these buds for less, especially over the holidays last year, but most of the deals have been not a much more than $20 to $50 under what we are seeing here and mostly in limited supply over Black Friday and the like. The offers on the Diamond 60th Anniversary Edition have been even harder to come by, or at least much more short-lived.
For me, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds stand right up alongside the best options on the market, from AirPods and Sony buds right through to the arguably comparable Beats, and so on. They delvers up to 6 hours of listening time on the buds without even including the extra power you get from the charging case alongside Bose’s Aware Mode and world-class Quiet Mode – complete noise cancellation, allowing some sound in, and the Bose Immersive Audio using Immersion Mode – “customTune technology analyzes each ear and adapts sound so the active noise cancellation offer a premium listening experience that’s custom tailored just for you.”
Hands-on: We got to play Nintendo Switch 2 for nearly six hours yesterday [Video] Today’s accessories and charging deals: Land a 256GB Google Pixel Tablet today at $200 off the list price, now $300 (Reg. $500)We have been tracking some major deals across the Google Pixel ecosystem over the last month or so, but we just spotted a Woot listing for the 256GB Google Pixel Tabletthat undercuts all of them. This model dropped from the regular $599 list price to $359 at Amazon where it remains at the time of writing. Woot, on the other hand, is now offering this same tablet in brand new condition down at $299.99 Prime shipped (a $6 delivery fee will apply otherwise).
Now clearly Woot is offering a much better price than Amazon (and everywhere else for that matter), undercutting the Amazon all-time low by $59. That said, there is one caveat to consider here…the warranty.
While the units at Woot are indeed brand-new – they are not refurbished – they only come with a 90-day Woot warranty as opposed to the standard 1-year you’ll get elsewhere. Whether or not the $59 in savings is worth it for you is to be considered, but a deal is a deal, and Woot’s is the lowest around.
Here’s how pricing shakes out at Amazon right now across the lineup for reference:
It’s no secret that the Google Pixel Tablet isn’t the newest Android tablet on the block, but it is still Google’s latest and one you can score with some serious deals right now. Delivering all of the usual tablet feature set – video chatting, web browsing, videos, social networking, and so on, it can also land as a sort display hub for your smart home gear, transforming its 11-inch screen into a window for your intelligent household devices – “manage your smart home devices with your voice or a tap on the home panel; access and adjust your compatible thermostats, lights, locks, and cameras.”
