Deals: 24GB M4 MacBook Air $150 off, iPad Air $200 off, more

Today’s collection of the best Apple deals are starting off the M4 MacBook Air lineup – prices just keep dropping at Amazon. After seeing some new lows over the last couple days, prices have once again settled down at the best we have tracked with the entry-level and most affordable models at $100 off in new condition while the 24GB 15-inch is now $150 off. Those offers also join clearance deals on the M3 15-inch MacBook Air at $550 offits original price and the most affordable M2 iPad Air at $200 off– this is one of the lowest prices we have tracked to date. All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break.

M4 MacBook Air prices have dropped again at Amazon – most affordable config now $100 off, 24GB 15-inch $150 off

For third day in a row now, Amazon has dropped the prices on Apple’s latest M4 MacBook Air lineup. What started out as lighter $40 and $50 deals across the lineup has now blossomed into a straight up $100 off hitting the most affordable configuration and $150 off the upgraded 15-inch 24GB models. These are indeed the very best prices we have tracked online and the details await below.

Apple M4 MacBook Air deals

All of the prices listed below on each configuration are the lowest prices we have tracked to date on Amazon.

While it’s very hard to go wrong with these prices if you’re looking to score a brand new M4 MacBook Air in the early days, there are a couple standouts for us. It’s not often we see the most affordable configuration on the non-pro MacBooks drop more than $100 in the early days.

And that 24GB 15-inch model at $150 off, now we are talking. Scoring a brand new MacBook Air at $150 off– it really doesn’t get much better than that this soon after release. For me the 24GB are starting to become more and more enticing, and while I personally prefer something close to the 13-inch form-factor for my MacBooks, this is clearly the best deal we have tracked to date on the M4 lineup.

And for those of you not bothered by the latest and greatest, we want to quickly highlight the deal that went live on the comparable previous-generation M3 model. You can score the 15-inch M3 model with the same 24GB of RAM down at $1,349 shipped on Amazon today – this is matching the Amazon all-time low at $550 under the original list price on this model. All of the details you need on this are right here.

Apple M4 MacBook Air features: Apple 24GB 15-inch M3 MacBook Air back to $1,349 low ($550 off the orig. price, $250 under M4)

Amazon is once giving folks another shot to score a sizable price drop on Apple’s 15-inch M3 MacBook Air with the 24GB RAM upgradedown at $1,349 shipped. Regularly $1,699 and originally $1,899 before Apple upped its RAM game, today’s deal is $350 off and $550 under the original list price. This is matching our previous mention and the lowest price we have seen this configuration sell for at Amazon.

Just as a quick reminder or for those unaware, this machine originally sold for $1,899 back when it was the latest and greatest 24GB 15-inch MacBook Air in September last year. Apple then decided it would do away with the 8GB RAM configurations across its Mac lineup without raising the price. That effectively knocked $200 off the official list prices, landing this 24GB 15-incher down at $1,699. Fast forward to today, and you can knock an additional $350 off that to deliver a price at $550 below the price this machine sold for at Apple not 7 months ago.

But that doesn’t really matter nearly as much as how it compares to the price on the new M4 model.

This is clearly not the new M4 MacBook Air, and those machines did see some official price drops from Apple at launch, but they are still more pricey than the clearance pricing we are tracking today on the perfectly capable M3 machine. A 15-inch 24GB M4 MacBook Air carries a $1,599 list price and happens to be on sale right now for $1,449 shipped. This is indeed the best price we have ever tracked, but it is still $100 more than the M3 model we are featuring here today.

We certainly wouldn’t blame you for going with the brand new model, but considering the M3 is really not even that old, this deal should at least by on your radar.

Target is clearing out the most affordable 13-inch M2 iPad Air at one of its best prices ever, now $599 ($200 off)

Target is now offering a seriously notable deal on the most affordable 13-inch M2 iPad Air at $599 shipped. This was a regularly $799 configuration before the M3 models landed recently and you’re now looking at a straight up $200 price drop to deliver the best price we can find anywhere.

For further comparison, Amazon’s listings for the 128GB M2 Air have largely been out of stock over the last couple months and this model has never sold for more than $150 off there.

Over at Best Buy this portable machine is still sitting at the full $799 with even open-box prices starting at $652 – there are good and fair condition units for less than this but we don’t generally recommend anything other than the “excellent” condition units.

Add all of that with the fact that Apple’s M2 iPad Air lineup rarely ever saw deals deeper than $100 or $150 off, and you’re looking at one of the best prices we have ever tracked on the M2 model. This one debuted last May so we aren’t talking about some ancient piece of tech here and it went through its entire current-generation lifespan at Amazon rarely ever going for more than $100 or $120 off.

While this is very much not the new M3 model, I would argue it might be the best 13-inch M2 series iPad out there right now for most folks with a price like today’s. There’s certainly nothing like, and nothing wrong with, spending the cash on the latest and greatest, but in my experience the difference between these two models is negligible at best with respect to just about all applications your average iPad user is actually running.

A 128GB M3 iPad model carries the same list price as the M2 model did at $799 and it is now on sale at for$729, or $130 more than the M2 model featured above. That said, if you are looking towards the latest M3 lineup you’ll find an updated list of the discounted pricing below:

Apple iPad Air M3 11-inch Apple iPad Air M3 13-inch Apple’s 1st Gen 15W MagSafe charger is probably fast enough, especially from just $13 a pop Amazon brings back one of its best prices of the year on all black Apple Watch Ultra 2 models at $730 Today’s accessories and charging deals: Apple’s new 11-inch iPad (A16) returns to Amazon lows today from $320

We are once again tracking another chance to score the lowest new price to date on Apple’s latest iPad (A16). Amazon is now offering the base model 128GB configuration in blue and yellow down at $319.99 shipped. The pink and silver variants are remaining at the prices we have been tracking over the last month or so starting at $329.

Regularly $349, today’s deals certainly aren’t massive or anything but again, $320 is the lowest we have tracked on brand-new units since the latest iPad 11, or iPad (A16), debuted under two months ago. This is only the second time we have seen the blue this low and the very first time the yellow model has dropped below $329.

Here’s how the discounted pricing works out across the lineup right now – only the 128GB variant is matching the lowest we have tracked to date.

While for many the 128GB is going to feel underwhelming, myself included, this is Apple’s ultra-affordable entry-level tablet after all. I would argue that, for the folks interested in picking up Apple’s latest casual iPad experience, scoring the most affordable possible configuration is key – once you get up into the $400+ range you could just land a discounted iPad mini 7 or M2/3 Air.

This iPad features a slightly larger 11-inch Liquid Retina Display, 12MP front/12MP back cameras, Wi-Fi 6, USB-C connectivity, and runs on the A16 chip – it is not Apple Intelligence-compatible, but rather a more family-friendly casual tablet experience that brings the iPad vibes home for less.

Hit up our launch coverage over at 9to5Mac for more details.

Just remember, if you have an older iPad 10 or something to trade-in, you can still score this model at as much as$175 off – all of the details you need to know await right here.
