Not only is Geely the partner to our first national automaker, Proton, but Zeekr has already unveiled its 009 luxury MPV in the country and many Malaysians seemed drawn to it. Mere days after unveiling the exclusive 009 Grand Collector’s Edition, Zeekr has once again captured global attention with the official debut of its flagship luxury SUV, the Zeekr 9X, at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025. As the brand’s first hybrid model, the 9X signals a new era of electrified mobility, blending cutting-edge innovation, luxury and performance in one package.

Moreover, the Zeekr 9X introduces a revolutionary hybrid powertrain that merges the best of battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technologies. Under the hood, it houses a powerful 2.0T hybrid engine making 205kW, paired with CATL’s Xiaoyao battery, offering a class-leading 380km all-electric range, the longest among hybrid SUVs worldwide.

Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, the 9X competes with the fastest luxury performance vehicles on the road. It also debuts segment-first innovations including dual-chamber air suspension and active stabilizer bars, delivering both superior comfort and agile handling.

On top of that, the Zeekr 9X also stands out with its stunning design, with over 42,000 laser-engraved, diamond-cut LED lamp facets producing a mesmerizing “starry sky” effect. Inside, Zeekr introduces the all-new G-Pilot H9 autonomous driving system, powered by dual Thor chips, five LiDAR sensors and 1,400 TOPS computing power, supporting Level 3 autonomous driving.

Every element of the Zeekr 9X reflects the brand’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of luxury EV design and intelligent driving experiences. To support the next generation of electrified vehicles, Zeekr is rolling out the V4 Ultra-Fast Charging Pile, capable of delivering peak charging speeds of 1.3 MW, setting a new standard in ultra-fast charging.
