VW Golf GTI Black Edition, Arteon & Tiguan Wolfsburg Edition launched, to be at Malaysia Auto Show 2025

The Volkswagen Passenger Car Malaysia (VPCM) brand is set to introduce a trio of special edition models at the highly-anticipated Malaysia Autoshow 2025, opening its doors this week, granting automotive enthusiasts the opportunity to feast their eyes on the Golf GTI Black Edition, a limited-edition Wolfsburg variant of the Arteon and Tiguan Allspace, and a refined R-Line edition of the Tiguan Allspace.

Offering a savory selection of two trim levels, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Wolfsburg Edition is available in the elegant Elegance and dynamic R-Line 4Motion variants, both carrying special introductory prices. 

The Elegance Wolfsburg Edition, with an initial RRP of RM210,990 (RM211,590 OTR without insurance), boasts a price tag that is RM5,000 higher than a standard Elegance model. However, the limited-time introductory offer knocks RM30,000 off the RRP, reducing it to a tantalizing RM180,990 (RM181,590 OTR without insurance). 

Taking a quantum leap into the premium R-Line 4Motion Wolfsburg Edition, the flagship variant of the Tiguan Allspace family, this model initially commands an RRP of RM263,990 (RM265,074 OTR without insurance), a premium of RM5,000 over the regular R-Line 4Motion. However, the limited-time introductory offer shaves off RM20,000 from the RRP, setting the final price tag at RM243,990 (RM245,074 OTR without insurance). 

Moreover on the Arteon R Line basis, the model usually commands an RRP of RM304,990. However with a savings of RM40,000 it has becomes RM264,990. 

In terms of embellishments that come with the Wolfsburg Edition, it includes: 

Wolfsburg Crest Emblem on the b-pillars Wolfsburg Edition owners box with Volkswagen keyholder and Certificate of Authenticity and Wolfsburg Edition floor mats. Volkswagen Universal Traffic Recorder 2.0 (UTR2.0) at the front and rear. Features include powerful Sony "Starvis" night-vision image sensor, which delivers ultra-crisp 2x QHD videos at high speeds, and advanced video compression technology. ‘VW’ logo valve caps.

 

The Arteon R-Line Wolfsburg Edition additionally comes with the following:

Door trim LED Volkswagen logo light and ‘VW’ Dynamic hub caps. Tailgate protective strip.  Cargo Elements with velcro fasteners on the boot floor mat.

 

Meanwhile, both the Tiguan Allspace Elegance and R-Line Wolfsburg Editions include these additional accessories and custom features:

 Load edge protection offers both a blend of functionality and flair. Boot Tray made of durable polypropylene which fits perfectly on the floor of the cargo area, and easily removable for cleaning. Volkswagen Golf GTI Black Edition

Adding to the excitement, VPCM has announced the imminent arrival of the exclusive Golf GTI Black Edition, boasting an original RRP of RM258,990 before unveiling a limited-time offer that slashes RM15,000 off the price tag, setting the final cost at RM243,990.

The GTI Black Edition is available in two striking exterior finishes - Deep Black or Kings Red. Assembled in Malaysia, it offers detailing and genuine accessories that distinguish it from other GTI models.

Black exterior accents include:
