Here's how a sale at Lotus's is helping kids with special needs
23 days ago
Lotus’s Malaysia just turned three and they’re rolling out a grand celebration. Not only are they giving shoppers massive discounts on more than 800 items, they’re also launching a really heartwarming campaign to help children with developmental and learning challenges.
So what’s this campaign all about? And how can your grocery haul actually help someone in need?
Huge discounts, freebies and a RM120,000 giveaway?!From 8 May to 4 June 2025, the Kongsi Ceria campaign is kicking off across all Lotus’s outlets and online stores (including Lotus’s Shop Online, Shopee, Lazada, Grab, and foodpanda). Shoppers can enjoy up to 50% off on over 840 items, including groceries, cookware, furniture, health & beauty, baby essentials, and more. You’ll also find Buy 1 Free 1 deals and weekday “Crazy Deals” from Monday to Thursday.
If you’re a My Lotus’s member, there’s even more to look forward to:
On top of that, 23 selected hypermarkets will be hosting contests and brand activations featuring names like Milo, Maggi, Nescafe, KitKat, Skintific, and more. Meanwhile, 7 Lotus’s Malls will also have exclusive roadshows and activities by brands like Mamee, Lactogrow, and Kyo. So yes, even a casual visit to the mall might win you something more than a brain freeze from overpriced bubble tea. But more than that…
Your Lotus’s shopping cart can actually help kids in needAs part of their #KitakanJiran spirit (aka being the kind of neighbour who does more than just share sugar), Lotus’s has come up with an initiative called Dana Kongsi Ceria. Basically, every time you buy something from Lotus’s Own Brand range, like Value, Aliv, Cute & Care, NaxNax, or OralPro, they’ll donate 0.5% of those sales to support kids with developmental delays and complex disabilities.
The funds will go to places like Tender Touch Paediatric Rehabilitation Center and GAPS Malaysia, which provide crucial early intervention therapy and support for children who need a bit of extra care to thrive.
