Suspected Drug Dealer Walks Away Unharmed After Crashing Into 18yo Girls in Pahang, Killing Them Instantly

Two 18-year-old girls were killed after their motorcycle was rammed by a car at a traffic light junction in Pahang on the night of June 11.

According to Harian Metro, Nur Alya Irdina Mohd Azam and Siti Nur Syafiqah Mohd Arif were waiting at a red light on Jalan Tengku Ismail when they were hit by a Perodua Bezza driven by a man suspected of being a drug dealer.

The crash happened around 11 PM when Nur Alya was riding a Yamaha Ego Avantiz with Siti Nur Syafiqah as her passenger. The car suddenly slammed into them from behind, and both were pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries.

Temerloh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mazlan Hassan, said the car was driven by a 38-year-old man from Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, who was not injured in the crash.

“Any witnesses are urged to come forward”

The suspect has been arrested and is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

The victims’ bodies have been sent to the Forensic Unit at Hospital Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (HoSHAS) for post-mortem, while the vehicle involved has been referred to PUSPAKOM for further inspection.

Mazlan added that police are urging any witnesses to come forward to assist in the investigation.
