Doremart: Customer altercation at Jalan Tabuan Dayak outlet swiftly resolved

KUCHING (June 30): A heated altercation between two men at a Doremart supermarket outlet in Jalan Tabuan Dayak yesterday (June 29) has been swiftly resolved, the retail chain said in a statement.

According to Doremart, the situation was quickly contained, with no danger posed to other customers, and normal store operations resumed shortly after the incident.

“An incident involving a customer dispute occurred in our store due to a moment of emotional impulse.

“Our team responded immediately and managed the situation appropriately.

“The individuals involved have since resolved the matter peacefully and offered mutual apologies,” the company explained.

A video of the incident, which went viral on social media, showed the two men engaged in a physical altercation inside the supermarket.
