Everything You Need to Know About Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2025

Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) is making its grand return this August. Now in its 13th year, KLFW once again partners with Suria KLCC and KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd to bring the runway back to its iconic setting beneath the Petronas Twin Towers.

Taking place from August 4 to 10, the stylish affair will transform the Esplanade at KLCC Park into a dynamic fashion arena. A custom-built, single-storey structure will occupy almost the entire space, housing a dedicated arrivals hall, the main show venue, multiple runways and interactive activation zones. Expanding in both scale and experience, the large LED screen brings the runway to life for those watching from KLCC Park.

“Staying true to our purpose of pushing fashion forward, KLFW 2025 marks an amplified comeback—with bigger ambitions, a head-turning lineup, bolder styles, new trends, and world-class fashion,” says Andrew Tan, founder of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week. “While we may be the city’s leading fashion event, at its core, KLFW remains a community-driven movement—a synchronised collective powered by the passion and dedication of designers, sponsors, partners, and the fashion-savvy community.”

Adding to the momentum is KLFW’s most extensive roster yet, with over 55 designers and brands confirmed for the week. The opening show will spotlight Sofia Iman, whose work reinterprets natural dyes and traditional songket through a contemporary lens.

On the schedule are powerhouses like Rizman Ruzaini, Kit Woo, Syomirizwa Gupta, Behati, Fiziwoo, and Masyadi Mansoor—BURO Impact Awards 2024’s Designer of the Year. Meanwhile, names such as Hatta Dolmat, Mimpikita and Ezzati Amira return to the runway, reaffirming their place in the local style lexicon.

KLFW 2025 also makes space for a new generation of designers. From experimental streetwear to conceptual cuts, first-time participants Ugly Pretty, Huntilanak, Mokjy, Akmal Hakim and ShazNash will debut alongside rising brands Outdwell and Doubleback. Additionally, Raja Irfan, Mei Mei and Salahuddinhilmi take the stage under the ‘Design to Sustain’ segment—an eco-forward initiative—after winning the KLFW Designer Search 2024.
