Bell & Ross Unveils The BR 05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic

Bell & Ross introduces its latest horological masterpiece: the BR 05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic, a bold, urban-inspired timepiece that merges avant-garde design with technical excellence. Limited to just 500 pieces, this stealthy all-black watch continues the legacy of the BR 05 line, launched in 2019, which has swiftly become a pillar of the brand’s modern aesthetic.

Housed in a sleek 41mm black ceramic case and bracelet, the BR 05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic features a fully skeletonised movement visible through a black-tinted sapphire dial. This transparent surface showcases the rhodium-plated BR-CAL.322-1 calibre — a bespoke automatic movement with a 54-hour power reserve — adding a layer of mechanical artistry beneath the dial.

A visual homage to stealth aircraft, the Phantom finish reflects Bell & Ross’s longstanding connection to the world of aviation. “It’s possible to stand out while staying discreet,” says Bruno Belamich, Creative Director and Co-Founder. The stealth aesthetic also draws from modern and contemporary art influences, referencing greats like Pierre Soulages and Richard Serra, where black becomes an active participant in design through the interplay of light and shadow.

The dial features matte black indexes and hands filled with black Super-LumiNova®, which appears dark by day but glows green in low light — a signature touch combining function with flair. A rhodium-plated seconds hand adds a hint of contrast, while the integrated ceramic bracelet elevates the design into a piece of contemporary jewellery, ideal for modern metropolitan life.

Crafted from scratch-resistant, hypoallergenic ceramic, the case delivers durability without sacrificing comfort or elegance. Its polished and brushed finishes accentuate the watch’s refined silhouette and enhance the tactile experience.

The BR 05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is water-resistant to 100 metres and available with either a black ceramic bracelet or a black rubber strap with a folding clasp, providing versatility to suit every lifestyle.
