20yo Foreign Uni Student Missing From Rented Cheras Condo, Investigations Underway | WeirdKaya

A 20-year-old Myanmar man who was studying at a private university in Kuala Lumpur has been reported missing for close to one week.

According to FMT, the student was Sithu Hpone Maw, who was last seen from his rented condo in Taman Connaught, Cheras on July 9.

Disappearance confirmed by police

Deputy Cheras Police Chief Ridzuan Khalid told the English daily that police received a report about Sithu’s disappearance from the management of University College Sedaya International (UCSI) at around 9.05pm yesterday (Jul 14).

Ridzuan added investigations into Sithu’s whereabouts are currently ongoing. According to the missing person poster, he is described as 5’9″ tall, has tan skin and wears spectacles.

Those with information are urged to  contact 011-1438 8752 or report to the nearest police station.
