Sabah electricity begins four-shift rationing schedule in Tawau

TAWAU (Sept 16): Sabah Electricity has implemented a four-shift electricity rationing schedule in Tawau starting today.

In a statement, the utility company said each shift will involve a supply period of three hours.

“For Shift 1, supply is scheduled from midnight to 3 am and again from noon to 3 pm, while Shift 2 runs from 3 am to 6 am and 3 pm to 6 pm.

“Shift 3 covers 6 am to 9 am and 6 pm to 9 pm, whereas Shift 4 will be from 9 am to noon and 9 pm to midnight,” it said.

However, Sabah Electricity noted that the duration and timing of supply may vary depending on the condition of Tawau’s electricity network at any given time.
