Piaget has reimagined its iconic design codes with a new collection of jewellery watches centred around the vivid allure of turquoise — a stone revered for centuries and embraced by the Maison since the 1960s. Known for fusing audacious design with technical mastery, Piaget once again blurs the boundaries between watchmaking, jewellery and fashion.

Unveiled earlier this year at Watches and Wonders, the new Sixtie collection pays tribute to Piaget’s golden era of design, combining rich colour, bold geometry and fluid lines. Its defining feature — a gently tapered trapezoidal turquoise dial — recalls the Maison’s 1969 21st Century Collection, while the gadrooned bezel and soft five-row gold bracelet echo the sculptural aesthetic favoured by icons such as Andy Warhol.

Further pushing the envelope, Piaget introduces two Swinging Sautoirs — timepieces designed as statement necklaces. One features a cascade of twisted gold and diamonds with a floating turquoise dial at its centre, while another frames the dial within a knotted rope of gold, combining movement and meticulous craftsmanship. Each captures the spirit of 1970s casual glamour, when Piaget’s designers took inspiration directly from fashion sketches and editorial pages.

Rounding out the collection is the Essentia watch, a sensual, organic creation where a vibrant turquoise dial sits within a fluid gold and diamond case. Its seamlessly tapering chain-link bracelet clings to the wrist like a jewel, showcasing Piaget’s unmatched expertise in goldsmithing.
