Driver injured after vehicle collides with bus in Tabuan Jaya

KUCHING, Nov 18: A man was injured early this morning after his Honda City collided a bus along Jalan Tabuan Jaya.

Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Tabuan Jaya received the emergency call at 5.43am and promptly dispatched a team to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the adult male driver conscious inside the car and was not trapped.

No driver or passengers were present in the bus upon Bomba’s arrival.

Firefighters used specialised rescue tools to safely assist the victim out of his vehicle before handing him over to health personnel for medical assessment. He was later transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Bomba personnel then carried out cleanup work to ensure the roadway was safe for other motorists. — DayakDaily
