Redmi Note 15 Pro series now official in Malaysia: Dimensity 7400 Ultra SoC, 200MP camera, IP69K water resistance, priced from RM1,399

The latestRedmi Note 15 series of smartphones has made its official launch in Malaysia. There are a total of four devices being offered in Malaysia, but we will be focusing on the Pro models — specifically the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Note 15 Pro+ 5G in this story. Between 16 January and 28 February 2026, Xiaomi Malaysia is offering a free storage upgrade for the Redmi Note 15 Pro series. Essentially, you can get the 512GB storage model at the price of the 256GB:

On top of that, Xiaomi Malaysia is also offering free gifts for customers purchasing the Redmi Note 15 Pro series between 16 and 21 January 2026:

Both the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Note 15 Pro+ 5G share quite a number of common specs and features. This includes the 6.83″ (2772×1280 pixels) 120Hz AMOLED display, protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a 200MP f/1.7 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide shooter, and a 32MP selfie camera.

That’s not all, both devices also support 22.5W reverse wired charging for accessories and other smartphones, and are promised up to four years of major OS updates and six years of security patch updates.

Durability is also one of the key features emphasised by Xiaomi in the Redmi Note 15 Pro series. For starters, the devices carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, along with drop resistance of up to 2.5 meters, backed by SGS 5-Star Premium Performance Certification.

Performance-wise, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, while the Pro+ model gets Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

In terms of battery, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is the one with the larger 6,580mAh silicon-carbon cell, while the Pro+ model gets a 6,500mAh unit. However, the latter does get faster wired charging at 100W, as compared to the non-Plus Note 15 Pro 5G’s 45W.
