Dolla to share the stage with G-Dragon, Hwasa on Jan 31

FROM growing up as K-pop fans to now sharing the stage with their South Korean idols, local girl group Dolla is set to realise a long-held dream when they perform alongside the global stars at the K-Spark concert on Jan 31.
The large-scale K-pop showcase, to be held at Stadium Merdeka, will see Dolla appearing on the same stage as renowned acts such as G-Dragon, Hwasa, DPR Ian, ITZY and 3P.
Dolla member Tabby described the opportunity to perform at the concert as an experience beyond words, given the stature of the K-pop artistes involved.
"At first, it was hard for us to believe that such a line-up could even happen in Malaysia. We are incredibly grateful to be able to witness their amazing performances and, at the same time, share the stage with them.
"We’re just feeling very grateful and we hope we can represent Malaysia well on that stage. We will bring something special to the table,” she said at a press conference here recently.
Tabby, whose real name is Tabitha Ariel Lam, said South Korean rapper G-Dragon and singer Hwasa have been major sources of inspiration in Dolla's early journey in the music industry, particularly in shaping their identity and stage performances.
Dolla and Malaysian boy band 3P were personally selected by G-Dragon and his team to perform at the concert.
The selection not only provides Dolla with an opportunity to introduce their work to a wider audience but also to showcase their capabilities on a large-scale stage.
"The crowd at K-Spark may not necessarily be people who already know Dolla, so this is a good opportunity for us to introduce ourselves and put on a strong performance,” said Tabby, 26.
Another Dolla member Sabronzo said they will be performing Malay songs at the concert, as part of efforts to highlight their local identity to the audience.
Tickets to the K-Spark concert will go on sale tomorrow via https://www.klook.com/event-detail/102000796-k-spark-malaysia-2026/, priced between RM388 and RM988. - BERNAMA
