Heineken Malaysia Berhad is calling on ambitious young Malaysians to apply for its Global Graduate Program (GGP) 2026, with applications open from March 2 to 27 for the upcoming September 2026 intake. The GGP is Heineken’s flagship accelerated development programme, designed to build the next generation of leaders across its global network of operating companies, and is now being rolled out in Malaysia.
The programme offers a fast-tracked pathway to leadership, enabling participants to take on responsibility and gain experience at a pace that typically exceeds traditional career tracks. A defining feature is its global exposure. Participants benefit from cross-market experiences, structured on-the-job learning, and immersion in Heineken’s international culture, providing Malaysian graduates with a distinctive edge within the local graduate programme landscape while contributing to a purpose-driven organization rooted in “Brewing the Joy of True Togetherness to inspire a better world.”
Victoria Ang, People Director of Heineken Malaysia, said, “At Heineken Malaysia, we are building a future-fit, high-performance culture driven by curiosity, courage, and empowerment. Through the GGP, we invest early in high-potential talent, equipping them to lead with impact and shape the future of our business. We are excited to welcome young Malaysians who aspire to challenge themselves and build truly global careers with us.”
The GGP spans three years and comprises three distinct phases:
Upon completion of the three-year programme, graduates transition into a further accelerated development track, positioning them to reach Senior Manager level within 10 years.
Since the introduction of the GGP in Malaysia, participants from the most recent intake have undertaken international placements across Heineken’s global network, including Ireland and the Netherlands, reflecting the programme’s global mobility and reach.
William Loo, a current GGP graduate who will be heading to the Netherlands for his international placement, shared his advice to aspiring applicants: “Never be afraid to ask questions, stay curious and be proactive. Growth accelerates when you tap into the experience of those around you.”
Jasmine Reynell, who is set to begin her international assignment in Ireland, added: “Don’t compare your journey to others — focus on learning and embrace mistakes as part of growth. Real progress takes time, and that’s perfectly fine.”
